What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a national day of generosity that happens every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Millions of people across the country, and around the world, come together to give, volunteer, and support organizations doing meaningful work in their communities.
By becoming a Community Constant for The More We Love, you’re joining a powerful, nationwide movement of goodness and compassion choosing to show up with steady love and support for someone who needs it most right here in the Seattle region.
The More We Love walks alongside people in the greater Seattle area who are going through the hardest seasons of their lives: women escaping exploitation or domestic violence, mothers working to reunify with their children, individuals experiencing homelessness, and people rebuilding after trauma, addiction, or deep instability.
Many have been driven from their homes, turned away from shelters, cycled through hospitals or jail, or left without a safe place to go. We show up with compassion, consistency, dignity, and practical support so each person can take steps toward safety and stability.
This Giving Tuesday, you can help bring steady support to more people by becoming a Community Constant.
As a Community Constant, you will help provide:
* Safe, warm shelter
* Meals and basic needs
* Transportation
* Crisis support
* Help getting IDs or documents
* Relational case management
* Consistent care
* Supportive volunteers when appropriate
